A former Governor of the Central Bank, two-time minister in different administrations and experienced diplomat, Ambassador Guiliani has been appointed to represent the Dominican Republic in the UK at a crucial time in the two country’s relations. Best-known internationally for securing the Dominican Republic’s membership of the DR-Cafta trade agreement with the US, he will prove a key player in post-Brexit trade deals. He also brings a wealth of political and business contacts from his homeland to help kickstart trade and investment links between the two countries.
