What are the key considerations to bear in mind when choosing a fund jurisdiction? Which fast, efficient, and cost-effective options are available for start-up managers today? What is the difference between key fund regimes? How to choose service providers? Onshore or offshore?
Today, 590 funds are set up in Malta, and the industry grows by the day. As one of only two EU member states that is also part of the Commonwealth, Malta sits at the intersection of Europe and post-Brexit Britain. With its English-speaking workforce and attractive regulatory environment, it is often cited as a reliable and cost-efficient EU base for fund promoters.
The practical sessions will address key issues faced by asset managers when setting up a private wealth structure and comparing fund jurisdictions across Europe. From NAIFs and PIFs, to ManCo platforms and redomiciliation rules, the event will provide an in-depth guide to setting up a fund and examine in detail the various Maltese fund regimes.
This event is organised in partnership with BoV Fund Services and GANADO Advocates. A light breakfast will be served.
