Speaker bio

Ralph Acampora has been a pioneer in technical analysis for over 50 years; he has taught at the New York Institute of Finance, “The School of Wall Street” since 1970. He co-founded and was past-president of the CMT Association, the official professional organization of technical analysts. He also founded and was the first chairman of the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA).

He worked for 15 years at Prudential Securities as its Director of Technical Research; before that he worked for Kidder, Peabody, Smith Barney and Harris, Upham & Co. Currently he advises Altaira Wealth Management and also teaches at St. Thomas University in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA.
