September 2020 investment update

August was the month that all nine of our global multi-asset models went into positive territory on a YTD basis. While we are happy with the performance, our main focus remains on avoiding market downturns and thus minimising portfolio volatility.

Geoff Wan


Geoff joined Dolfin in 2019 as a multi-sector credit analyst to build the firm’s investment grade and high yield credit offering.

Prior to this, Geoff held credit analyst positions at Hermes Investment where he generated investment ideas for a range of unconstrained strategies and at CreditSights where he published credit research on OEMs and suppliers in the automotive sector.

Geoff also has experience in the commodities sector through his previous analyst roles at ICAP and Morgan Stanley.

Geoff graduated with a BSc in Mathematics and Economics from the London School of Economics and is a CFA charterholder. Geoff is also a native cantonese speaker.
